I am a Columbia Journalism School-trained independent science journalist and editor working on stories that lie at the intersections of health, technology and the environment. My features and news have been published in New York, Wired, Backchannel, Guernica, Al Jazeera, The Verge and Proto, among other publications. In addition, I have worked as an editor for Nautilus, an award-winning science magazine.
I have also written content for a number of academic and research institutions, including The Earth Institute at Columbia University and The College Board, have contributed to a coffee table book for The Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard, and produce sponsored content for biotech companies.
I earned an M.A. in science journalism from Columbia Journalism School in 2013, and was a fellow in creative nonfiction at CUNY's The Writer's Institute from 2008 to 2010. I have a degree in English from Williams College. Thanks for taking a look!
